Here's a few random ideas. Lightbulb

1 : Check your server logs to see if the Googlebot and Bingbot are actually visiting your site, and verify they're not blocked.

2 : Is your site penalized ?

Use the Google search console tool to check for any issues with your site -> https://search.google.com/search-console/about

3 : Search in Google for your website, and for topic titles from your site. If you don't find anything, put the title in quotes "My Title". It may be that pages are indexed but are not high up in the search results. Also try with inurl: and site: to check your site in Google results.

4 : Install the Google SEO plugin to improve the quality of your forum meta / urls -> https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=789

5 : Create a profile on high traffic sites such as github, twitter, hashnode, mybb etc with a link back to your website to feed the bots.

Be patient. It will take time to see any results. Work on posting new quality topics more regularly.
