MyBB Community Forums

Hi
I'm Mike and I've just joined the forum.

I installed a copy of MyBB on a local host with Wampserver and low and behold it's actually up and working. Now that the Forum can be seen (Just by me) I need to set it up as I would if it was sat on a Namecheap server and waiting for people to find and join the community. 

Are there any video or Document tutorials on how to set up the Forum i.e. set up different categories and protect the forum from morrons trying to use it for their own ends, which I expect someone will try to do? I'm sure there are Filters you can use that will stop certain words from being used on the Forum. But all these things are something I will have to learn about before I can go live with MyBB on the real Internet.


I'd be most grateful for any help here, please.
