I just have a basic question (I did search but didn't find the answer I need, sorry) .... The cookie Prefix option in ACP, can this be anything?

Such as:

• abc
  
• abc_
  
• H534&*jnFDcfbnM
  
• &&788TYh_
  

I mean, are there any limitation to what the Prefix can be?
And once changed .... How will this affect the members (if at all)?

You can prefix them with anything you please.

Once changed you will probably need to clear all cookies from the site (and each individual will need to do the same). This can be done in Chrome by clicking the lock icon to the left of the url, clicking cookies and site data, then manage cookies and site data, and clicking the trash icon for the cookie sets used by your site. You will be prompted to reload the page.
