Hi,

I installed Google SEO plugin and while trying to submit to GSC, I couldn't find the location of the sitemap-index.xml file.

What is correct file and where is it located? I want to submit to Google Search Console.

Also, do I need to create robots.txt or is it created by Google SEO plugin and If so then what's the location? Thanks

Sitemap : yoursite/sitemap-index.xml



Note : When download plugin or anyscript and you saw Readme.txt , Please Read it , this file is not for fun.

Yes, I guess I know that Readme.txt is not for fun and I read it.

I already visited the URL: mysite/sitemap-index.xml and it was a 404 error.

I did read inc/plugins/google_seo.html file but I don't think that sitemap xml file is at the said location. I tried different guesses for the xml file location however couldn't find it.

make sure you did all settings correctly and set all htaccess codes.
