Hi, everybody. 

My friend ask me to move mybb from one server to another. I copied files on new server, database is still on the old one.

When I try to open forum on new server I see only strange signs (part of screenshot in attachment) instead of forum site.

I turned gzip on old one site  in admin panel and still the same problem

Any idea what couse such problem?

Admin CP --> Configuration --> Settings --> Server and Optimization Options

Find Use GZip Page Compression?

Select "No" and save.

hi I had done it earlier.
Now I again upload all files from old server and it works. It means that GZip settings is kept [also] in files not [only] in database.
Thanks for confirming that it's a gzip issue
