Hi,

Please could someone help me out. I have recently installed MyBB onto my server and haven't made any structal changes to the software. I am still using the default theme etc. All i have done is set up forums and categories.

I went to login on the front end of the website and i get the following message.

" Authorization code mismatch. Are you accessing this function correctly? Please go back and try again. "

How do i fix this issue and what is causing it?

I can login to the admin cp without any issues.

Thanks
Wouldn't expect this with a fresh install using the default theme, but you should read the pinned post in this forum:

Also want to be sure the Secure Cookie flag is set properly for your board.

Be sure to clear local cache after any changes, and perhaps run rebuild and reload all in your ACP Cache Manager.  Can't hurt. Smile

Edit: Guessing, because no url provided, but I'd double-check the cookie settings in the ACP - Site Details as well.  Pretty sure something wrong in there will do this too.  Think I've had this happen when refreshing my test system.  Cookie domain, cookie path - as well as secure cookie flag, are all different in test.

A friend of mine had the trouble on a fresh install. The trouble was that he installed the forum using https://www.domain.com/forum/ and after he created and uses https://forum.domain.com (pointing the same place). After changement of the cookie settings to the good subdomain and directory, everything was ok.
