I have a private area and I do not want those posts counted as total posts on the board.  How do I do that?

ACP --> Forum & Posts --> [Choose Forum] --> Options --> Edit --> Yes, posts in this forum should count towards user post counts --> disable
if you want threads not to be counted too, there is an option for it too
