Hi. I'm a new user with a fresh install of MyBB 1.8.37, recently installed.
I'm setting up a BBS for a small number of people, and it's currently very quiet. I have noticed that when someone replies to a thread which is being monitored, I do not get an email notification until I login to the website. I assume this is because the email queue is not flushed until the website is triggered by activity.
When the BBS gets busier, this shouldn't be a problem, but it's currently a vicious circle, as no one is engaging until they get a notification, which might not be for hours. I tried setting up a cron job to activate the Send Mail Queue task php, but that doesn't seem to work.
Please can anyone tell me what cron job I need to run to send the email notifications?
