When reviewing a profile page, if the user has only unapproved or deleted threads or posts, there won't be visible links to search for their threads or posts.
It is possible to use the search page but that degrades the user experience for moderators or permitted groups.
I think the links should appear if the current user is a (super) moderator or administrator.
It is possible this was already reported so I won't push the issue just now.
