Wll, I use the MyBulletin theme, so top links don't show up/ Would I just be able to add
{$toplinks} or whatever the variable is to the template and have them show up? I will also need to know the variable

Sorry, by "toplinks" do you mean the "Search", "Member List", "Calendar" and "Help" links near the top of the page? If so, they're actually stored in the header template, and don't appear as a variable.
Yeah, thats what I meant. If they are stored in the header, that just makes it easier

Yeah the top links are in the header template as shown below;
