Good evening guys. How can I modify the icons within the forum with images?

I think you don't mean the thread icons but the thread_status_icons?

take a look at the Themes' thread_status.css
there are 16 of them

yes, excuse me. You are right. I meant what you wrote. I read that there is folders_sprite.png but I wanted to change each image to my own size. With folder_sprite I am not able to do that.

you can create 16 own images and then you have to declare this images in this css

an example

.thread_status.dot_folder {
  background-image: url('themes/buntesocken/dot_folder.png');
}

I find this font-awesome uniformity just terrible

Let's say that on some things, in my opinion, it gives the idea of professionalism. Maybe too serious. But on some things I find it endearing 😎

about taste can not be argued

For our band forum I developed a new style for each album that fit the album cover or theme

I now use BootBB myself because the effort isn't worth it for the new, small family community
