Theme: My Red release #3

No Plugins besides AdminCP Honeypot

Hi there, just installed My Red theme. Other themes do not exhibit this behavior. I have a strange result on any new thread or reply page where the BBCode buttons don't show as buttons but instead show as a text list. See the image below. The text runs down the page, displays over the top of other page elements, prevents the user from typing in the body of the message, and even shows code over the top of other page elements that you can see at the bottom of the image.

What have I done wrong and how do I fix this?

Is it a custom editor part of the theme, or does it do it when you select another editor to use with it as well?

The problem seems to persist through different editors but I haven't tried them all yet.

I'm changing the editor selection, then flushing webserver cache, then Ctrl+F5 the new thread page and still have the text list.

check for updated templates in ACP

this style is very old, last updated 7 years ago, so there will be a lot of changes to make

I went into Find Updated Templates and reverted to original for just the codebuttons.

Interestingly, after saving those changes, flushing cache, and refreshing the page to find the problem fixed, "codebuttons" no longer shows up under the My Red Templates in Find Updated Templates page.

...did I just create a new problem? lol

Whoops, they're under Templates & Style > Templates > Manage Templates > Ungrouped Templates.

you solved this problem, it's ok under ungrouped templates

"find updated templates" lists only templates which are not original for the current version of MyBB
