I'm a little curious what all the communities out there, that do use awards of some type, have available for awards/badges/medals?

I most commonly see contribution awards (reached x posts, conversation starter - reached x threads, etc.). I've also seen some member of the month/year.

What do you have? Just looking for neat options to possibly add for my own site that my brain has yet to come up with.

Taylor, you have reminded me about one of my many un-plugin-ed ideas.
Possibilities are immense to award users:

Talkative: tracked by First reply
Addicted: Spent time in forum
Immaculate: Reported x posts / users
Evaluator: Rated x users / x reps
Cloistered: Sent x PMs
Introducer: Provided a bio
Subscriber: Got x threads subscribed
Searcher: Used search system x times
Assertor: Post got quoted by others x times
Drafter: Kept something in UserCP Notepad

... the list is never-ending, even can go upto negates like:

Survivor: Overcome warnings x times
Roborn: Got unbanned from a perma-ban
Peripheral: Posts got deleted x times by mods
