The first is default in MyBB ...

Second is the "overview mod" or Advanced Stats, http://mods.mybboard.com

The first screenshot you posted was of the people who were currently active (in the last 15 minutes).
If you want to replace that part with people who were online 'today' then this is the plugin you want: http://mods.mybboard.net/view/online-today-1.2.2
