It'd be nice if you reduced it to about 20-30 seconds. It gets annoying to actually have to wait before you can post.
The whole point of a feature like that is to prevent and/or discourage spam. It's not supposed to be a member turnoff as well.
I thought it was already set at 30 seconds. Is it actually a minute? Hasn't ever bothered me. Do you really surf through the posts and type that fast?
o.o imho even 10 seconds would be effective. I, fortunately, don't have that limit applied to me.

A minute is generally a good amount of time between posts as it encourages members to think about their posts and discourage from one-worded posts or the likes.
Unless you type out numerous replies in different tabs and try to post them one after the other it shouldn't really bother you.
I agree. I mentioned this before and Chris reduced it but I think it was reset to default on upgrade. I prefer 20 seconds on my forums but anything less more than 30 seconds tends to slow me down. I can type fast.
Yeah, I type fast and use multiple tabs to browse about three at once. And waiting a minute to think up more? Please. I just post what I was going to say, except I have to sit and browse another thread.

I was doing this too, when I was in the registered group ... luckily I don't have any limit anymore.
LOL...oh yeah, rub it in! Jeesh!

I use the tabs on my own forum, but for some reason I don't do that here. I don't even know why!
Let's not just let this problem go away without rectifying it.
