Hi, I am having trouble where this is concerned. On my forum, I don't have this setting turned on, and yet, I was unable to log in to my test account because even after I entered my password for it, it still prompted me to reset it to a more complex password (even though it already is with 12 characters) and when it prompted me to set a new one and enter the email, I never received it either.

I checked this in my ACP and the feature is turned off, so why is this happening?

Do you remember the exact message? The behavior resembles the Breach Shield plugin.

Thank you for the reply, Devilshakerz. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact message and I completely forgot I was using that mod.. lol

That said, I never got the email for the password change either.. and I have no idea how to fix this..

A regular password reset query (https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/faq/login-prob...ord-change) should work, before investigating mail delivery issues.
