Don't know if there's one out there or not (looked in the MyBB Mods section but didn't see anything) but I'm wondering if someone can develop a Hide Hack.

One where users must reply to see the hidden information.

I'm sure others would like this as well Smile
You could have tried a search here? Smile http://community.mybboard.net/showthread...#pid112607
Oh thanks!
Not there anymore !
Well, that's weird. Looks like he took it down. You can always try this one, which is what I use. Just be sure to read the first 20 posts for any fixes.

Gah, I'm surprised how many people want this...

I know people are going to disagree, but I personally think forcing users to contribute, especially across the internet, is just silly.

Nonetheless, since people have been PMing me for this, I just made one: http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=32
Yeah, you're right, people are going to disagree with you.

it's 50% true what you are saying...force ppl to do something if they want to see the link is not good...but a lot of ppl forgot to say thank you ..and a simple thank you helps ...even if you don't think...saying thank you helps that person to continue his work..in this way ..the author will receive thank you from the users that are using what he/she posted..
You have a point, but the boards I've seen which force users to reply, typically the threads have about 200 posts which say nothing more than "thank you"... I generally prefer constructive replies, rather than simple, (mostly) uninformative "thank you"s

Ahh well, that's my view. You're free to have your own view - it's your forum after all XD
yeah..but even if the forum is using the thank you mod you cannot be sure that the users are pressing it if they used the link..you are right..a mod like this increases the spam..but it's better for the author...
