Hi all,

I uploaded the MyBB 'upload' directory along with all its contents to my web-server. It is on an intranet page at work, so I can't post a URL here. But when I click on the install/index.php page, it shows me the following screen:

Before you can install MyBB, we must check that you meet the minimum requirements for installation.

PHP Version: 5.0.4

Configuration File Writable: Yes

Settings File Writable: Yes

Everything seems to be in normal order, click Next to continue.

It then throws up the Database Configuration screen where I entered the DB info. When I click on the "Next Step" button on this page, I just get a blank screen. And then NOTHING. Subsequently I checked the inc/config.php file and it's empty.

Any thoughts on what might be going wrong?

Have you entered the database details right? You can try redownloading MyBB and uploading it again, sometimes odd things happen when downloading. This is something i've noticed in the past.
