When I'm trying to search this phrase "O.S.T.R." with brackets - search result is... nothing, but in forum some posts has this phrase in topic.
FullText or Standard searching - any difference in results.
Any ideas how to do Search function more strength?

Full Text has a minimum limit of 3 or 4 depending on your server for any 1 word. In this case, I believe it would consider each letter in a bracket a word by itself because of the periods.

I may be wrong. The search algorithm for Full Text searching is something I haven't ventured into
