I'm not having any luck finding many themes that'll work fully with 1.2.9...if I find any I like, they're never compatible, but I still upload them to see if they work. When I try to log-out, I get javascript errors..is there a way I can update the theme so it doesn't give me errors?

Basically any themes made for the 1.2.0-1.2.9 are compatible, but for the 1.2.0-1.2.7 themes you will have to make a slight modification (as per the thread I linked) to make the logout work.
