After using IPB for many years and now not liking the way they seem to be heading, I've just installed the latest MyBB forum set up. So far it's looking great to me, and I already see that it has a few "extra" features that IPB doesn't have in their software package. The one gripe that I have so far is that I see no option that allows me to receive an email whenever anyone registers to the forum. I may have missed it if it is a feature, but I thought I'd looked everywhere possible for this.

I'd also like to ask that since there's been a number of forum upgrades, how does one know which plug ins/mods etc, are compatible with the 1.2.9 version?

Any plugin made for version 1.2x will work with MyBB. 90% of all mods here will work with all of 1.2's continuum.
