It looks like a big job, and I would have no idea how the two would integrate together.
Perhaps, something like YouTube (user posts videos) which automatically starts a thread??? Probably better to use their system instead for that...
Or maybe just the user table? so that users are already members of the forum etc so they can post on the forum but also so that they can post videos on phpmotion
