Is it possible to link a user group to members' ages? For example, everyone 10 and under would be in a "Young" usergroup where they can only be in certain parts of the forums, while the oldest members will be able to see more strategic and advanced parts of the forums.

If not, is there a way to do it or implement the idea?

It will probably have to be a code modification of sorts, but the tasking system in MyBB 1.4 will allow you to do this easier.
