Hello all

I am trying to install Mybboard on my website
I uploaded the contents to a folder (forums)
and did the CHMOD 666 on the files mentioned in instrucition

but I dont know how to make the folder visible to that I can perform step 4 of the installation:

Quote:4-In your browser, visit the URL where you installed your forums, appending /install/ on to the end of it

You should go to:
www.yourdomain.com/forums/install/

Replacing "www.yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.

I did, but I get
" The webpage cannot be found "

Did you upload it to your public http directory? It would be called something like "htdocs", "httpdocs", "public_http" etc?

I dont have this directory on server..
I uploaded it to the root directory ..

Installation work ..

the problem was that the folder names are " case sensitive"
and i was writing the folder as (forum) when I should write it as " Forum"

Yeah, you may want to change that to lowercase as not many people type URLs in uppercase.
