I nearly reached the 100mb limit on the DB storage. I wiped the mybb_searchlog which cleared it down to around 60. I was wondering if it's possible to run off 2 databases? The Posts and Private Messages are taking up the most space, I'd like to split them each to a database if possible.
Not possible without modifications. The mere fact that you've reached your limit should tell you that your forum is too popular for free hosts.
A forum of that size (popularity) - I'm somewhat doubting that a free host would even allow that much load...

I'm using a paid host.

what kind of sucky host are you paying for? There are thousands of better alternatives for only like 3.95$ a month
It's odd that a host places a limit on size of a single DB. Most hosts will set a limit on the total size of DBs - are you sure the 100MB limit only applies to a single DB?

Anyway, for your request, there's no easy answer as MyBB is pretty much designed for use with a single DB.

You can also consider pruning or archiving old posts or PMs.
I know 1and1 for one limits database size to 100MB Sad

Yeah I'm using 1&1.
I'm looking to transfer, their customer support has been horrible.
