Hello,

I currently run one forum with close to 400 members. I am in the process of setting up another. is there a way to share the membership database so people on the one forum can login with the same logins on the other without re-registering?

I don't want any posts or post count to be transferred between the forums, just the login details to save them registering again.

you can make the two forum use the same table to save the menbers data.

If you want post counts to be separate, it would probably be easiest to write a plugin for forum X which creates a copy of the user on forum Y when someone registers on forum X (disable registrations on forum Y). Is that confusing?
