In my opinion, there should be a preview function for us to see.
Then, why BBCodes aren't allowed there? It should allowed us to put up and image to further illustrate what we want to say.
Most likely because the software used for the ideas posting doesnt use the BBCode praiser, which I couldnt blame them for, I'm not sure if it'd be an easy thing to integrate, course I think you could post a link to the image you want to show, that would work just fine too.
If you can't verbally explain your idea then it's not an idea worth doing.

Some of the ideas I come up with come from little drawings I make.
Some of us just simply can't explain things as others can, when we have an idea, so we have to draw it out.
Never say an idea isn't worth it, I don't see any problem with using images so long as it gets the point accross.
A picture is worth a thousand words.

Can you explain a little more of what you exactly want?

Well that's a very dyslexic friendly thing to say <.<
Drawings can also help out people who don't speak English natively and often have difficulty explaining what they mean.
1. A preview function
2. Enable BBCode
Easier? =.=
A image demonstration is a huge resource in getting ideas across and very useful for cosmetic approaches that are ideas as well. An image or snapshot as an example improves getting the idea and suggestion across vastly. It's a very viable solution.
