If I was to ask one of you to do a conversion for me from my current phpbb 2.16 board to myBB.

I dont mean a conversion of the template and everything, I just want the database (users, posts, and post counts) converting over so I can get my new site up and running.

If this is not allowed then please feel free to close this post.

I know some of you have the skills, if not i can go to getafreelancer but would much prefer it if someone who was more familiar with myBB would be up for it.

Doesn't the phpBB2 to MyBB converter(s) work?

Not when I have tried it, but I really am SQL illiterate.

We'll be releasing an official converter/merge system for phpBB in a week or so.

If you can hold off until then, you'll be able to convert using that.

Hi Chris,

My baited breath is beginning to taste a bit manky, do you know if there is any chance of us getting this converter before the weekend?

I am hoping to take Friday off work and if I can get the converter by then, then I will make my switch over to myBB
