Hello, I have uploaded the files to the server many times, but every time I do I get a weird error. [attachment=7920]
In IE it says its an "HTTP 403" problem. I don't understand why it won't let me utilize the installation.

As for the PHP, I've been told by a friend that it won't work because we don't have apache...The hosting plan is here: http://www.web.com/Hosting/WindowsBusiness.aspx , and it sure enough doesn't list apache. My question is this, why do they offer PHP and not the apache to go with it? (or do they?), and why don't the forums work?

Thanks.
That error means that no suitable index file could be found in that directory and because directory listing is turned off, that message is displayed.

Are you sure you uploaded your forum where you think you uploaded it to?

Please excuse the cruddy mark outs...pretty sensetive as to what gets out (and I'm very, very new to this)
Is your WWW directory your public facing HTTP directory then because if so that looks to be the right place.

Do you have a htdocs, httpdocs, public_html or something along those lines inside www because if so, that might be your public HTTP directory.
No, there is nothing along those lines under the WWW directory.
Are you able to access other things that you have uploaded to your webserver?
Yes, the website has been built for a while, I'll PM you the web address.

Also - I did some digging in the threads, since it looks like I don't have the apache would I just do what they suggested here (http://community.mybboard.net/showthread.php?tid=3889)?

EDIT: The thread eventually led to installing this: http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php
For the attention of other users:
We have been discussing this in PMs and from what I can make out the forums files are where they should be however accessing them throws a 404 error.
Have you asked your web host for advice?
I will, but it will probably have to be next Monday when they open up again.
