today my hosting provider suspend my forum for high load.
1- any tips to decrease server load?
2- do you know a good hosting for mybb script?

im using many mods . is there any relation?
Bro plz enable Gzip compression it will reduce your bandwidth usage to great extent!
Gzip compression is already enabled.
MyBB wasn't the script that caused the high load, unless you have broken plugin which is causing it. The only other reason a high load would have been caused would be is a lot of people were on the forum at the same time, but I doubt even that would cause that much of a server increase.

Are there any other scripts you have running?
High load meaning it is using a lot of server resources? Or that you are using your bandwidth quickly?

What mods/plugins do you have enabled currently?

Dear customer,

We have noticed that your account is using many server resources
at the moment. The last hours your account has had 306805
requests for your site which is quite allot. We will have to ask
you take measures to lower the load or we may be forced to temporarily
suspend your website.

We hope that we do not need to take such drastic measures but
it may be necessary to ensure good performance for other
customers on the cluster. I'm sure that you understand our
commitment to provide the best possible service to all customers.

Ask them what they mean by "306805" and then also ask them what the average server load was during those hours and how much bandwidth / cpu cycles were used up

If you find that phpLD is causing the problem, I hope you will contact us on the phpLD Support Forums. If you are running version 3, there a cacheing feature that can be implemented that has consistently reduced server load significantly for those that encountered issues (usually the result of mods).
im using phpLD 2.1.3 in many sites and i didn't find any problems with it.
PHPLD is a good script. GO ON.
i hope that we can use it as a mod in mybb.
