Is there an easy way of limiting, or resizing to a defined width and hight, the images that appears in users signatures?

The mods presented on mod page isn't working for me; Image resizer isn't working anymore since the upgrade to 1.2.9 and Image Resizer & Optimizer won't work since my webhost don't have GD on there servers.

So, my question is if there are another way to acheive this?

You can use max-height / max-width CSS properties on the image. Note that IE6 doesn't support it though.

A more complex approach is to use Javascript.
