I would like to see as a member,
1. Import/restore button of backups that can restore my files to an earlier time.
2. Spam features to make it difficult on spammers, such as, their pms, emails to spam members away.
3. Keep non activated members to not show up as new members.
4. A type in word for the captcha part as an option in place or togeather for signing in or registering as a member,a nd a variety of captchas with different strengths.
5. I would like to see the activate button next to the members name and the ip address, and an ip trace or host checker with it and all the in the same place.
6. Full member control in one place such as activation & ip addresses.
7. Template changing and theme changing to not change after making changes or editing, one does and the other doesnt...
etc; perhaps togeathe side by side template/theme edit windows , as long as theyre parent slash default... slash template slash theme for editing purposes on the same page windows edit link(S)..
8. Boxes for banner ads etc for sides bottom top and between forums and also generated to show up in the post itself as a random post after the first post, and has a number selection as to how many posts it will be displayed and after how many after the first reply to the first post,and there after... and all these boxes to have random ,
feature, except for a two box feature on that can be displayed in the forum wherever it can be for audio video screen display nad the other for scrolling from verticle or horizontal hottest ad s or most featured ads or most replied to ads or most favorite ads,or forums
headlines or b-days or shouts and a combo of inside forum news and announcements! and last but not least on for the upper right hand corner, for a small featured ad or mascot, one that the other boxes dont have in its dimensions like a three inch by three and a half inch box something to that dimesnion and dimension control for all the rest or parameter control over all images, anywhere in the forum....
some header/footer tables/bars that have color and shades like msn, does...
and a color selector of all the new colors.
9. a built in tutorial. on each feature in acp . that gives basic examples in plain english, not design or developer talk,,, to help eliminate little people questions, ;P or eliminate flooding of common support FAQ
10. a place to embed a pre-fab'd code in a template type style, to place hooks to add images or boxes, kind a like a generator but a box
window in certain areas...
11. News radio type interfacing and more use with the rss feature for this type of stuff and possible a quick change feature with in the control to use for mybbskins/interfacing with others also, perhaps depending on admin, and this one quick change feature should include the theme, templae and blogs not only for seasons for holidays and styles or fashion changes...
12. A trivia point system, for school themes and trade skill themes.
for bars and tavern themes, and questions for learning themes,a nd history themes sport themes , etc;
13 A date and job match feature that uses selected check boxes percentages to match skills or compatibility for job seeker to job poster, or date match based on adding your own titles and how many boxes,,,,
14. a Restore feature of only some files, making MYBB more easier to repair files/folders, such as a[ forum thread and forum post restore], it could be a update feature, like using the version update feature, hint. the same could be used for the index, footer and header, rather than storing them somwhere else and having to double update, jsut update one file feature an if its lost or corrupted for what ever reason , it can be reovered without replacement of every file and folder or other features, being comprimised,lost, or lost updates,,
15. an alternate email box for admin with an encrypted feature or ip protection feature, or just a another alternate email , thing to use for certain spam issues and anonymnity purposes...

these are some of the feature's that id like to see, in 1.4 or something to that effect?
id like to see some others post, some ideas too.
i know that some plug ins are awaiting for it to arrive but it would be nice to see these made to see if theryre compatible first and help the transition adapt anything that can be foreseen in time for the unveiling and champagne bottle breaking or toasting cheers to MYBB, for once again out doing the competiton!
