When we skinned the forums with a new theme (dark blue in this case), we lost all Template Customization. (Lost customized footer info, registration modification and plug-ins).

Why is this? Is there a way to prevent this from happening when skinning, in other words what is the right procedure?

Thanks Wink
Each theme can have it's own template, which is probably happening. Just make sure to add things from the old template to the new one without overwriting the whole template. You can also deactivate and reactivate your plugins and loose their settings but reactivate them to update your new skin.
Edit the theme and make sure the "Template Set" option is set to the correct templates.
Is there a way to transfer the settings from the stock default theme to the new theme, one step, to not lose the custom settings. Is there a Wiki on it so you guys don;t have to spell it out here? I did try to search and found nothing unless I am searching the wrong terms...?

Sl3dge.....we are not sure how you mean add things from the old template. Does this mean we have to manually add all the customized items, such as the footers, registration modifications, etc? Sorry for sounding so air headed on this....but while we are computer savvy to a point, we are still too unfamiliar with MyBB functionalities Shy

Thank you AND Dennis for putting up with us and trying to assist us....it is greatly appreciated Wink

Dennis, the Template Set option is set to the correct template for the board. We are not sure where to go from here Shy
