As you can see, the side bar is so long that I had to scroll down long way.. Why doesn't make it collapse by each category..

I'm having difficulty when I'm using my laptop because my resolution is not big.

Apparently, it's redesigned in 1.4.

I agree that it's a little overboard, though I'd hate it to develop into something like phpBB3 where you have to click about two links before you get anywhere useful...

Doesn't look too bad on 800x600...

I don't mean that, what I mean is to just collapse it and expand. I find it diffucult to scroll down as my track pad doesn't provide an easy scroll.

The AdminCP has been totally redesigned for MyBB 1.4. I assure you that this will no longer be an issue.

and now..i have a little question..how much(percents)is done 1.4 ?

Nobody knows. We'll release it when it's ready. (We also try to release it before the end of this year )
