Hello there,
I've merged a phpBB to a myBB since around 1 year and yesterday, I noticed that signatures don't appears in posts.
I remember that when I was using phpBB, I choose to don't display them because of spam, but now I can re-authorize them.
So, I edit my signature and choose to activate it in all my messages. But it doesn't appear. In the mybb_posts table, I can see "yes" in all includesig field, so I can't understand how I can reactivate it.
A few silly things, but let's check:
- Are there any signatures in the users table?
- Do you have signatures enabled in your user settings?
That's the first thing I'd verified
So what's the problem like is it getting the data of the signatures in the database but not showing it? and i do not think there is a global permissions for the signatures.
There are indeed some global settings for signatures in the admin panel
admin panel > board settings > change > User Registration and Profile Options
- Allow myCode in Signatures
- Maximum Number of Images per Signature
- Allow Smilies in Signatures
- Allow HTML in Signatures
- Allow [img] Code in Signatures
- Length limit in Signatures
- MyCode affects signature length

well there we are you can try that. (thats what you get not knowing a lot when you test/live board is broken)
All these settings are OK...
I guess it's in templates that I've a trouble, I'll check that.
if its not just post back we as a community will be happy to help.
So... I can't find the solution.
The templates are the original ones, everything seems to be alright in the DB...
