Hi,

I am a searching for the right Board and would like to ask if I can change the Registration Agreement when registering: mybb/member.php?action=register

I would like to have 3 different Texts (license etc.) that has to be confirmed before registering.

Thank You
Of course you can Big Grin

You can change any part of MyBB apart from the copyright located at the bottom of the page.

To change the registration agreement, go into the Admin CP, and edit the language variables for member.php
Hi DrPoodle,

thank you for your quick answer.
I found the variables, that concern the registration agreement.

But can I add another agreement that has to be confirmed too. In the end there should be three agreements. I think there has to be another two variables. But how to do this?
I think there has to be some php done.
And I am a total noob in php.

Is that possible?
Well, instead of creating a new variable why not just add the extra bits onto the end of the last agreement variable?

Use <br /> tags to make new lines.
Ok that would be a easy solution.
I think I got to take a look at the php code.
It would be fantastic if if would go like this:
first confirm 1st agreement -> next page will load
then confirm 2nd agreement ->next page will load
then confirm 3rd agreement -> then registration page
Isn't that just a bit much? If they have to agree to 3 separate sections in order to sign up, why not have them all in the same place?

You won't get many users your way...people will get annoyed.

Concerning Design you are certainly right.
But in my Board there has to be only a few (20) users.

Ok if it is really a problem I'll post them all in one page.
