Is there a way i can make edited posts show up as new posts?

I've searched this forum, but i can't find anything, so i apologise if this thread has already been created.

No you'd need a plugin or modification to do this.

Patching is simple:

patch -d CATALOG_WITH_FORUM -p1 -l < FILE_WITH_PATCH.DIFF

And i think 3/4 of the people won't even understand how to do it with the provided file.
