is there anyway to hide the "author" name's if someone happens to enter my forum and reads the posts but is not registered yet?

As the admin of a forum, I often google the email and username of new members. This practice helps me weed out the few known spammers who make it past image verification.

Yes but I still want to "hide" or mask the author or the person who "last posted" to non registered people looking into the forum .

Does anyone know how?
