Is it possible to add the attachment in the post as external link (without uploading).
Now people only can add an attachments in written post by uploading it to my server, when they can do it by using a link it would be better.
When they wanne add an image as attachment it would be great when also the thumnail is showed.

Moderators and administrators must still can use the function to upload it to my server, other member can post the link as attachments

I'm sure that will be move to modification section..
but about your request.. am not sure if it good idea..
what if the attached link dead?

About those dead links I understand, but when people add an image it the post with a link that do not work you got the same.
