Hi,

I would like to have a plugin where you have to enter your birthdate before you register. Like they have on Vbulletin.

I have an adult site and wants to make sure that people who join my forum are at least 18.
Hmm, so what if they enter a fake age?

Most of the time, I tend to stick "01/01/1910" just to bypass any age limits the admin might put on...
I don't particularly believe that children over the age of 10 would either be willing to truthfully admit their age over the internet (publically), or, would respect any age restrictions put in place. (seriously, just look at the number of teenagers who have looked at porn)
Well, that is on their concience.

If their parents contacts me i can tell them to take a look at the register page and they will see that the user has to fill out their birthdate.

And then it isn't my fault if their kids has lied.

Try this file make sure you keep a copy of yours but this will work.
I'd probably stick it in the registration agreement, instead of asking for a birthdate.

Just use big bold text on it - if parents complain, well, you have something to argue with.
I personally think forcing one to fill out a birthday is unnecessarily asking for an extra step in the registration process.
