It installed well, but i've done something incorrectly because there doesn't seem to be any login place for users to access the board, everyone can just click and see. The site needs to be more secure that it is , obviously.
What do I need to do to fix it? I know, change permissions... but where exactly.
also is there a feature that makes some forums private and some public?

maybe i can help a little. You need to set the permissions for your forums in your control panel.

go to the Admin CP of your forum, and then go to permissions, and then unregistered and unactivated permissions, and set "can view forum" to no
