I haven't seen any here, I don't think one will be made untill PR1 is out. In some threads you'll notice the Support Team say "It will be in gold".
This is a old thread. MyBB "Gold" was mybb version 1.0 . Currently the development team is working version 1.2 witch will have allot of new features. MyBB will allways be free.

MyBB Gold was the previous name for "MyBB 1.0".
Before the version numbers (1.1.5 etc) came into effect, MyBB was going through named versions, like MyBB PR2 (Preview Release 2) and so on. MyBB Gold was to be the first "stable" release of the product, but it was changed to MyBB 1.0 because...well, it made sense.
What was Snake thinking? O.o
Somebody else revived the thread but has since deleted their post since Snake pointed out how old the thread was.
