Full Version: [F] Bad Words and Search

It is not the most troubling of problems, but I still think it is worthy of mentioning. Words that are set to be replaced can still be accessed through the search function.

Ex. If you replace "apple" with *****, ***** will show up in the threads but if you do a search for apple, apple will show up in the search results (when shown as posts).

I have a member who has a unique name and has requested that all instances of his name be replaced with his username. Currently, the best I have been able to do for him is apply the changes to the threads, but, if for some reason, somebody types in the name using the search feature... there it appears.
I am not using the "Bad Word" function for bad words. I am attempting to use it to replace instances of actual names with usernames for members who wish to have their actual names not show up on the internet. Many of the people in the community that post on my board know each other outside of the forum. It has proved nearly impossible to get everybody to strictly post usernames and not actual names. I am sure you can see what I am trying to do here...
