Anyone?

I have sucessfully merged vb 3.6 to phpbb2 then to the latest mybb..

PM's, attachments didn't come across, but im not bothered..

It ran pretty much fine, and i followed the readme's exactly!

I have 900+ members, thousands of posts and threads!

It didn't copy the forum permission and the usergroups, but i think that was the vb to php one

Would of been a lto eisier to go from vb straight to mybb, but eh, what the hell..

Im now running mybb and my users love it!

Thanks olstar. And how about the passwords? Thats the more important part. Last time i changed forums, i lost 60% of the users because of losing password Many seem to be too lazy to too dumb to retrieve password through email...

no, my users have had to click forgot password..

i think it was the phpbb conversion that screwed them up tho, not the one to mybb

Correct, the vB -> phpBB conversion can't handle vB's passwords. The vB 3 converter should be out within a week, if you want to tell your members and go back to vB until your done.
