Is there anyway I can make it so that only posts with X amount of characters can count as a post? Is there a setting to do this or a plugin?

I do think this would be a nice core feature most boards have this available.

Hmm...easy to make a plugin I guess...

You can also set a minimum characters for posts. That's imho just as good. That setting is in admincp.

There are some cases where a simple "thanks" is an OK post, but I still don't want to count them as actual posts because my forum has certain areas that can only be reached by members who have a certain post count.
