HI All,
I have tried a lot but I am not able to locate the file to edit the box just below welcome message box. The same box where we write the "Board Name".( the one we get through admincp > Board Settings > Change >
General Configuration > Board Name)

[ Since there is a lot of white space to the right of "board name", I want to make use of that space to include a google search box] I was able to get header.php etc but couldnt locate the file I need.

Can anyone help with this?

In your header template; the boardname ( == navigation ); find <navigation> and add your code in a div with float:right
