Compare these two attachment criteria:

Control Panel » Usergroup Management>>Edit Usergroup >>Total Attachment Quota (Kb)

and,

Control Panel >> Attachment Types >>max. size

both of these areas have a limit to the size of attachments. Whats the difference? Which overrides ?

Difference, total attachment quota: quota allowed per user.

And: max size of a file extension.

They're two different things.

The usergroup setting defines the maximum amount of space that a user in that group can occupy on your server.

The attachment type setting defines the maximum filesize of one attachment of that filetype that a user can upload.
