im wondering what other folks use when they find a company who wants to sponsor their forums. do you allow for stickied threads where the sponsor chooses the topic? what other creative ways do you allow sponsors to advertise independent of programs like GoogleAdsense?
Announcement and stick threads are good for this. Also using buttons will take up less space.
what exactly is classified as a button?
For example, on the two forums in my signature, look at their footers...you will see affiliate buttons. That is what I mean, small button banners. The large ones are okay if rotating is installed but the buttons make it easier IMO...
