Ok, When I first did the upgrade to MyBB 1.2.12, it completely killed my forum with problems but now, after doing several re-installs, I'm still experiencing the same problems:

• No one can log in or out
  
• when I click on the thread in the "Last Post" column, I am taken to /howthread.php which does not exist.
  

Can it be the fault of my web server which was fine before the initial upgrade?

I'm getting really frustrated by this!
