In ACP I have Version Check link but I receive this error:
MyBB Error
There was a problem communicating with the version server. Please try again in a few minutes.
I want to know how can I make this link to work ?
I read
here and I don't find any answer.
Can you help me, please ?
It's not our forums that have problems, I think the mybb site has problems.
When I check for version, I get
"Latest Announcements
MyBB was unable to successfully fetch the latest announcements from the MyBB website."

Anyway... i was just curious...
The version check will also fail if PHP isn't allowed to fetch files remotely from other sites (some free hosts restrict this).
If this is the case, this isn't a problem we can fix on our end. I'd recommend you to sign up for the MyBB newsletter at
www.mybboard.net which will send the latest announcements directly to your email.
